iOS 13 – Date of release, certainty and rumors

Among the recently loud leaks, renderings of what the new iPhone 11 will look like, it’s time to be interested in what new will be in the system where he will work. Current version of iOS 12.2 brought mainly stabilization corrections and many functions that were expected from it will probably go to the 13 mobile system from Apple.

When the premiere?

June 3, 2019 – WWDC 2019 will take place this June, during which iOS 13 should see the light of day.

The first half of June – usually a few days after the presentation of the new system, it goes in the form of beta to developers.

End of June – probably then daredevils will be able to download the open, public beta of the new system. If it goes well, it will be a little more stable than the development version.

It is true that Apple recently puts less on upgrade to new models, so the listed devices have the chance to be the oldest supporting iOS 13.

A lot of new products for the iPad

Every two years, iPads receive a package of new functionalities with the system update – it promises to be no different now. Apple has been advertising an iPad for some time, especially the Pro line, as a device that is able to replace a computer. Leaks confirm that the company’s strategy does not change in this respect.

One of the most interesting changes may be mouse support. Personally, I recently replaced my computer with a Windows iPad Pro, and in fact the mouse is something, to the lack of which I haven’t got used to it yet. The iPad will also be able to be used as an additional screen at Macki and will gain the possibility of using external disks using a USB-C socket from iPads Pro, thanks to which imports, e.g. photos will be a lot faster.

Other devices will not be disappointed either

The new iOS can bring the first, big change in the appearance of the main screen in the history of this system. There may be a place on the new main screen for some of the widgets known today – e.g. weather or calendar. If the creators draw conclusions from how space is sensibly developed on Apple Watch and move it to a large screen, then the effects can be very interesting.

The dark motif is one of the more fashionable functions of the last year, and its appearance in popular applications or systems always arouses great interest – see the last update Facebook Messenger. MacOS Mojave got his Dark Mode last year, and it has even more advantages on mobile devices, even better readability of the screen in the dark or a good impact on battery wear.

Although the iPhone camera ’ and takes one of the best photos on the market (although not the best), its application is very simple, not to say outdated. Therefore, iOS 13 brings hope to refresh it. In terms of application of the Apple camera, it must make a lot of effort to meet functionalities, while maintaining the ease of use, such cameras as in Pixel 3 or Huawei P30 Pro.

Blocking unwanted connections is the domain of Pixel 3, where Google showed an amazing usefulness based on his assistant, who receives the phone himself and helps us assess whether we should join the conversation or block it. The function, unfortunately, does not work outside the USA, but even my pixel can check on the internet if the number calling to me somewhere appears and displays information to me who is calling – even if I do not have it in contacts (of course it works mainly on company numbers). iOS 13 goes with this trend and is also to receive similar support.
