Anvata is sixty-nine reports on mobile technology, filed in the spring of 2022 and left as they were. Nothing has been added since.
Where the material comes from
These are English versions of Polish technology reporting. You can still see it in the detail: the Gliwice company SMSAPI, Allegro building image search, the KRS company register, loans without a BIK check, a Polish startup promising 3D and AR for the clothing trade. Where a piece names a source, the source is Polish.
What it is about
Twenty of the sixty-nine are about Apple, and fourteen name a version of iOS in the headline — iOS 4 through iOS 13. The largest cluster sits on iOS 7, which is the release that took the leather, the felt and the drop shadows out of the interface. Two of the pieces argue that from opposite sides of the announcement.
Around that: blockchain and cryptocurrency, mobile payments and e-commerce, the state of mobile advertising and ad-blocking, VPNs and what an application is allowed to know about you.
Read it as a record, not as news
Most of these pieces were written forward — release dates, rumours, trend books, what a technology was going to do next. Read now, every one of them has a known ending, and the archive does not tell you what it was. Check the date on a piece before you take anything from it.
The cryptocurrency articles need saying twice: they describe what was being discussed in the market at the time. They are not financial advice, they were not financial advice when they were written, and nobody should make a decision about money from them.
Two things that are wrong with this archive
We would rather say so than let you find out on your own.
The pictures do not always belong to the article. When this archive was assembled the featured images were matched to the wrong pieces — related in subject, but from a different report. For that reason the front page carries no images at all, and the ones on the articles should be read as decoration, not as evidence.
The English is machine-made. The translations were not finished by a person, and it shows in the headlines and in places in the text. The meaning is usually recoverable; the grammar frequently is not.
