Privacy policy

This is a small archive of articles with a contact form. It has no accounts, no comments and no shop, so there is very little to say here — but what there is, is said plainly.

Who we are

anvata.info, an archive of mobile-technology reporting filed in 2022. The about page explains what it is and what is wrong with it.

The contact form

If you write to us, we receive what you typed and the email address you gave, so that a reply is possible. We keep that only while the exchange is useful. It is not added to any list, because there is no list.

Comments and accounts

Comments are switched off site-wide, so no comment data exists. Readers cannot register, so there are no reader accounts and no profiles.

Server logs

The web server records requests as any web server does: IP address, page, time, browser user-agent. Those logs keep the site running and secure. They are not used to build a picture of you, and they are rotated by the hosting provider on its own schedule.

Cookies

No cookies are set to track readers. Administrators who log in get the ordinary WordPress session cookies; those are never set for readers.

Content that is not ours

Some pages carry advertising or sponsored links supplied by an advertising partner, and older articles may embed media hosted elsewhere. When that content loads, the third party sees your IP address and may set its own cookies, exactly as if you had gone to their site. That happens under their policies, which we neither control nor can see into.

Analytics

This site runs no analytics or tracking scripts of its own.

Sharing

We share nothing with anybody. Nothing you send is sold, rented or passed on, short of a lawful order we must obey.

Your rights

Ask what we hold about you, ask for a copy, or ask us to delete it — through the contact form. For nearly every reader the honest answer is that we hold nothing.

Changes

If what this site collects changes, this page changes with it.
